STMath Support for Teachers
Last year was my second year using STMath as a fourth-grade classroom teacher.  After a VERY skeptical start, I came to LOVE STMath.  My former district, like Wayland, also employed iReady.  For two years in a row, the district saw a STRONG correlation between classrooms with high STMath usage and impressive growth data in iReady.  STMath is research based.  When implemented with joy and fidelity, it will elevate math learning for all students!

Last year I was asked to present at an STMath Champion Workshop.  I'm sharing one of the presentations that I put together for STMath.  Ultimately, it is not the one I used when I presented but it is the one that I think will be most helpful to you.

I use Canva to create a lot of the resources I used to support learners as they use STMath.  Please reach out to me if you'd like STMath support, Canva support, or would just like me to make you some resources.  It would be my great pleasure.  In the meantime, I hope this presentation is helpful. This convincing report supports our decision to make room for ST Math in our classrooms:
Should you, or one of your student's family members need to be convinced about
STMath's efficacy, this research study is a great place to begin.

This interesting article focuses on:
Why We Should Worry Less About The "Achievement Gap"
We need to revolutionize math perceptions if we want to close the experience gap and eliminate its most evident symptom: the achievement gap. The good news is that we can make such experiences available to people of all levels, not just the already high-achievers.
