Our first diagnostic will always be scheduled in late September, after you have had a chance to bond with your students and establish routines. The diagnostic window will open on Tuesday, September 20th. The students can log in and complete the diagnostic between the 20th of September and Friday, October 7th. Once the data has been collected we will meet for analysis and action planning.
Our second diagnostic is scheduled to begin on January 23rd. The diagnostic window will remain open until February 7th. Now that you know your students well, you can probably reflect back on their first diagnostic data and pinpoint students whose first diagnostic results don't match what you know they know and are able to do. Let's be thoughtful about administering this second diagnostic so that we capture the most accurate data possible. Reach out to your math coach and interventionist if we can lend a hand by testing individuals or small groups from your room. Once the window has closed and the data has been collected we will meet for analysis and action planning. You should expect some changes in your intervention groups.
